Cove Beach Apartment

The view is good, but I’d avoid this place at all costs. We’re in the downstairs apartment and can hear every step and noise from the upstairs guests, so sleeping has been impossible and it’s incredibly annoying. We’ve spent the last four hours listening to people walking constantly above us. It’s 10 pm now, and that’s especially bad when we have to travel tomorrow. You can’t count on the upstairs apartment being vacant.

Apartment 1 had what we needed and was mostly okay, with the Cruise jetty within walking distance. The outside furniture was covered in thick dust, dirt and bird poo, so we had to wash it before using it. We could also hear the people in Apartment 2 walking around upstairs. They sounded like a herd of elephants stomping about.

The apartment was spacious, with a full kitchen and laundry, and an ensuite off the main bedroom. It's in a great spot right by Coles Bay. I gave it four stars for value, since $200 a night feels a bit much for an old apartment without daily housekeeping.

We only stayed one night, which was a shame. It was clean and spacious with a great view, and we're definitely coming back.
