Iluka Holiday Centre

The beach is beautiful and long, and it never felt crowded, even with a busy campsite nearby. The campground itself still felt spacious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our cabin was clean and roomy, and the location made it easy to walk to the beach, tavern, shop and Cafe. The kids' playground was just right for our toddler, especially the inflatable pillow and trampoline. We found the double bed and sofas a little hard, but we'd happily come back.

The shower in our six-bed cottage felt too small, and there was hardly anywhere to hang towels for three people. The bunk beds could use heating too, though the heater in the main bedroom worked well. We got the six-bed cottage even though there were only three of us, since we couldn't choose which cottage to book. The heater was easy to use on a cold, rainy night, and after-hours check-in was straightforward. The location is handy for the national park and two food options next door. Wi-Fi in the camp cooking area was useful, and the kids' playground was a plus.

The amenities were very clean, and the camp kitchen was laid out well. There were plenty of washing machines and dryers in the laundry. Our powered site was near the camp kitchen; the high kerb made reversing the caravan awkward, but we managed. Reception staff were professional, exceptionally helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Our two-bedroom cabin was roomy and comfortably furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen that worked well for cooking for ourselves. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the shower, and the air conditioning was good. Wi-Fi was poor, though we had reasonable 5G. Check-in was friendly and easy. We'd stayed at BIG4 Iluka on Freycinet before, so we knew what to expect. It's convenient for the beach, cafe and restaurant.
