Ed and Susan are the hosts with the most, going above and beyond and making our overnight stay so memorable that we've already talked about coming back, perhaps in the slightly cooler months. Beautiful accommodation in Coober Pedy. The apartment was much bigger than we expected and nice and cool compared to up top 😅 Thanks for everything Ed!

The rooms are bright, spacious and very clean, and the underground stay stays warm in winter and cool in summer. Ed and Susan make everyone feel welcome, with a relaxed approach and a pet-friendly policy. It’s far enough from the busy CBD to feel peaceful, but makes a great base for visiting “The Opal Capital of the World.” This is my first choice for a longer stay in town, a step above the local hotels and B&Bs, with prices to match. Thanks, Ed, for everything you do for travellers! 😍💖🥂

The hosts went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, and the shared spaces were kept in good shape. I also appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals. The underground setting was a memorable part of the visit: cool, quiet and cozy when it was hot outside. Our room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully arranged for comfort. A one-of-a-kind place I’d happily recommend.

Sleeping underground was an amazing experience, and Edward made us feel at home. We got a warm welcome, great stories, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing to fault, definitely top of the list.

The place was immaculate and felt homey, with the facilities we needed, including a kitchen, washing machine and dryer. There was also a great range of breakfast food. We stayed three nights, and Edward was one of the kindest, most welcoming and informative hosts we’ve met while travelling. If I’m back in Coober Pedy, I’d book here again without hesitation and recommend it to others.
