We loved the peaceful setting and the kids were thrilled with the bunk beds. The rooms aren't as modern as some, but they were clean, and the lovely location more than made up for that. The pool was cold and refreshing during the heatwave. We ate by the river at the tables, watching birds and kangaroos, and at night the sky was spectacular. Lying on the trampoline counting satellites was a highlight, and it was a handy base for seeing the area. Our hosts, Harsh and Urvi, made us feel welcome and were very helpful. Harsh found one of my child's jumpers and quickly let us know so we could come back for it. We stayed two nights. Thanks for having us!

Being able to bring my furry companion along was a lovely bonus. Warrumbungle Mountain Motel was a cozy, comfortable place to stay, and spending time outdoors at night felt magical. With so little light pollution, the stars shone brilliantly and the celestial views were spectacular. For anyone who loves astronomy and wants a relaxing getaway, I can't recommend it enough.

Harsh at reception made check-in quick and easy, and was really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well kept. I loved stargazing from the backyard, and the quiet property made it easy to unwind and enjoy nature. There's a lookout and two observatories nearby too. A wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway, highly recommended!

The kids were already asking to book again as we left, mostly because of the lovely managers. The couple running the place were welcoming and engaging with us and the children, and the food was fantastic: the best battered fish and chips I've had in Australia, with curries just as good. I'd suggest trying the evening meals. The location was amazing, and on a clear night the Milky Way from the "football field" was fantastic. We camped on a powered site with plenty of space around us. It was a quieter time just before schools break up, but there's so much room I doubt it would feel crowded. If you book a powered site, bring a long extension cord, since the distance to a connection can be as far as you can stretch it. I didn't see the rooms, but was told many can sleep seven, which sounds handy for families. Thanks for such a lovely welcome!

The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and well kept. Warrumbungles Motel sits in a beautiful natural setting with lovely views and a calm, refreshing feel. Waking up surrounded by nature was a highlight. It's quiet and scenic, and worked well for us after exploring Warrumbungle National Park. A good choice for nature lovers, stargazers or anyone wanting a break from city life, and suitable for families too. Highly recommended.
