The views were an amazing bonus, and everything at the Motel was as expected: a clean room and the amenities provided. We even found free drinks in the fridge. The one thing I’d change is the bed. The double spring mattress was a bit soft, and a new mattress would sort that out and make everything perfect.

The pool was nice, though it needed cleaning, which I understand was due to the bushfires and wasn’t their fault. Breakfast was continental, good but basic, and the place could use a tidy up. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioner worked really well even with temperatures over 40 degrees every day.

Joy and her team spent almost an hour searching the grounds after I lost my phone, which was incredibly helpful. Mountain View was a great place to stay, with very clean rooms and lovely views. The kids loved the pool too.

Joy, the manager, was an amazing, welcoming host. With the local IGA shut, she even gave us food from her own pantry. We ended up at Mountain View Motel unexpectedly on Christmas after a flat tyre on the infamous "Jig", and police dropped us off late on Christmas Eve. The beds were comfortable and the view was hard to beat. I’d highly recommend staying in the beautiful surrounds of Corryong.

The manager’s attitude was terrible, with none of the country hospitality you’d expect. Our group of friends had stayed here many times, but we won’t come back. The rooms were old and dirty, with used soaps and dirty floors. Avoid it and look for better accommodation in Corryong.
