Pru has such a lovely, lively personality and makes sure guests enjoy their time at Bimblegumbie. The house, guest rooms, and gardens are full of beautiful art. It feels like a home away from home in a beautiful destination. We’ll be back time and time again.

Pru and Craig were lovely hosts, and we all had a great time at Bimblegumbie. The place has loads of character, with a gorgeous garden and endless views. Fires inside and out kept us warm and cosy. Highly recommended.

Pru runs the place and made us feel very welcome, and she’s extremely sweet. We stayed in the penthouse, which was comfortable and just the right size. The rooms and grounds are eclectic, and it’s certainly unlike anywhere else you’d stay. It’s quiet, though you can hear the nearby motorway now and then. If you’re lucky, you might meet Redge (the dog) and Craig, who looks after the property and gardens. My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay and would come again.

We stayed in the Studio with our baby. It was a little small for the three of us, though manageable, and had a TV, DVD player, a full kitchen, and mobile reception across the property. The room was warm and cosy during our summer visit, when days were fairly warm and nights cool. It’s an alpine bush setting, and the property is filled with very interesting artworks and sculptures. Guests can use the separate communal area, which is part of another home and fascinating inside. It’s dog and kid friendly, and we met some very nice people. You’ll either love the place or feel unsure about it.

As a dad travelling with two younger male skiers, this place suited us perfectly. Having our own room with a kitchenette and then sharing the dining room with fireplaces at night worked really well. The boys bonded with the other guests over pool. We agreed with Pru that it’s hard to give a place like this five stars, or we would. See you next time.
