Crafters Luxury Cabin, Spectacular Views

Our evenings were spent by the firepit, listening to deer calling and looking up at the stars. Crafters One was modern, very clean, and well equipped, with a really comfy king-sized bed. It’s a peaceful, secluded spot, yet just 10 minutes back into the pretty little town of Jindabyne for coffee or down to Wild Brumby Distillery for lunch. We loved our few days here and highly recommend it.

Six weeks after our trip, we’re still raving about Crafters. We timed our visit to see the Gemanids and photograph the night sky, and the shooting stars from the outdoor hot tub, in perfect silence, were amazing. The cabins are sustainable, off-grid, and luxurious, with thoughtful details everywhere, from the dreamy bathroom and bed linen to the polished concrete floors and outdoor mood lighting you can switch on from bed. We slept so well and woke to wallabies outside our bedroom window. There are lovely walks on the property and great hiking nearby. Crafters is a short drive from Jindabyne’s cafes and conveniences, and 25 minutes from the snow fields. We can’t wait to return.

The views, animals, and peaceful setting were lovely, and watching clouds form off the mountain from the hot tub was phenomenal. I loved nearly everything, but missed the little local treat I’ve had at every other luxury place I’ve stayed. After a six-hour drive, I went to make tea and found there was no milk either. The treat isn’t a big deal, but this was the first place I’d stayed without milk. Stop in town to pick some up before you arrive. I just wish that detail had been there.

The outdoor hot tub was a wonderful bonus and a real highlight, and the views were spectacular. The cabin has beautiful, carefully considered design and top-quality furnishings, all finished to an exceptionally high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed this magical place and couldn’t recommend it more.
