Crowdy Bay Eco Resort

We had a great stay with our three grown-up children. The rooms were really clean, and the staff were so friendly. Getting to the beach was brilliant. The only thing that might affect a stay is having little kids in the next room who wake up early. We were lucky to have perfect neighbours. Thanks for having us.

The bed is sooooo comfy, and the location at Crowdy Bay couldn’t be better. We truly love coming back to the CB eco lodge, where the manager is professional and friendly. We stayed in cabin #16 in December 2025 and asked for a bulb in the bedside reading light closest to the door. When we returned in April 2026, it still wasn’t working and hadn’t been fixed. We also couldn’t find a switch for the lights near the bbq, even though the lights are there. A bottle opener and more than two bags of tea and coffee would be handy. When we asked for extra tea and coffee, it was refilled quickly. For an “eco-lodge,” refillable permanent shampoo dispensers would make more sense, and watering the lawn on a rainy day seemed rather un-eco. Solar panels to heat the pool would be a nice addition in the cooler months. Given the cost per night, sorting out these few things would go a long way toward justifying it. Thank you.

Getting to Crowdy Head Beach took only a two-minute walk from our door, and there’s also a surf club cafe nearby with meals and snacks. The location is hard to beat. We arrived early and were allowed to leave one of our cars while we explored. Check-in was easy, and when we reached our accommodation, the staff told us they’d upgraded us from a deluxe twin to a family unit. We each had a king-size bed. Our accessible room had a ramp out the back and a huge bathroom. There was plenty of space, with a large room, a table and couch in the main living area, plus a kitchenette with a microwave and a full set of plates, bowls and cutlery. The facilities were wonderful, and the service was exceptional. Absolute perfection for our quick getaway. We’ll definitely be back and are telling family and friends about Crowdy Bay Eco Resort.

On our second stay at Crowdy Bay Eco Resort, the friendly team upgraded our room to one with bunk beds for free after our children changed their minds at the last minute and wanted to stay at the resort instead of with their grandparents in town. We really appreciated it! We adore both the location and the experience. The resort isn’t overly large, so the kids can run around at their leisure and it feels safe enough. The playground and pool are fantastic when we’re not at the beach or in town. Can’t wait to visit again. :)
