Barb greeted us at reception and was friendly and helpful. She gave us a map and marked a few places to eat and visit. We were assigned the larger disabled room, which had plenty of space and was clean and well equipped, though dated and a bit dark. The bed was fairly comfortable, and the new air conditioner kept the room warm overnight. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

It's a quick walk to the town centre, and the rooms are generously sized with everything you need. A fantastic place to stay. The website photos don't do it justice.

On my previous stay, I would have rated this place four stars. This time, though, I'm giving it two. We were in room 4, and the room seemed dirty. The sheets and bedding looked like they'd just been remade without washing, and the milk in the fridge had been opened by the last customer. The only things I noticed that had been attended to were the bathroom sink, which had been wiped, and the replaced towels. Very poor room servicing after a guest has stayed. The air conditioning was nice, and the lighting was good when switched on, though there were no bedside lamps.

This is the best place I've stayed in for a very long time. I'd give the accommodation the highest rating possible and definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
