From our room, we could see Currie and the ocean. The place was beautifully maintained and spotless, and it was so handy to town. We booked at the last minute that day and were really happy we did. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in an A frame cabin and would probably come back. The property has a great BBQ room, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There’s a front loading washing machine and a clothesline in the car port, though no dryer or pegs. In the bedroom, the bedside tables have a couple of drawers, but those are the only drawers there.

They were able to fit us in at short notice, and the service was so warm and friendly. Our room was clean and had all the essentials, plus really big, soft towels. Lovely place, I’d recommend it to anyone.

The Wi-Fi was quick and there was plenty of it, and Currie is only a three minute drive away. We stayed at Island Breeze in a three bedroom unit and a three bedroom cabin for a golf trip. Some doors in the cabin stuck, but it wasn’t a problem. We were meant to stay three nights, then a flight cancellation meant we needed an emergency extra night. Julie welcomed us and arranged the last minute extension, which was great.

The motel rooms are basic. There’s a warm, sheltered common area where we had breakfast and dinner on some nights.
