The place has a calm, comforting atmosphere and is right in town, directly across from the supermarket. I’d read other reviews and wanted to make sure my mother and I wouldn’t end up sharing a double bed since we have the same surname. They weren’t sure whether a twin share had been booked, so they put us in room 11, the "Ocean Bride". It was a good room with a nice view from the window. There’s no AC, but the window opens and there’s a fan. The shower was a welcome feature and seemed quite modern, and I appreciated the extra remote shower head. The food was neither the worst I’ve had nor the best. It was a little pricey, though I understand that most supplies have to be shipped to this remote island. Tourism and mining are what keep this location going.
