The grounds are so well kept, and the rooms feel clean and comfortable. The Old Convent has a relaxed charm that made it an easy place to unwind while passing through. Kirsty and her team have put real care into turning the old building into such a welcoming spot. Thanks for the hospitality, we’ll definitely be back.

The kitchen and dining area work well for early starts, with complimentary tea and coffee, toast or cereal, plus fruit cups and oj to take along. The house cats are adorable, and the staff are always awesome. They even booked me in on a public holiday and waited for my late arrival. I travel a lot for work, and I’m always glad when I get a night in Dalwallinu at The Old Convent. It’s steeped in history, the rooms are cosy and well appointed, and I prefer the king room with ensuite. Thanks again!

The rooms and breakfast were basic, but comfortable, and Lee Anne and Michelle gave great service. The cats love a bit of affection, so be sure to say hi. This place feels like a hidden gem away from the beaten path, with a rustic, quaint look and lots of character.

The quiet, peaceful feel made it easy to relax after a long drive, and our clean, comfortable room had everything we needed for a stop on the journey. The Old Convent is beautifully looked after while keeping its original character. Since it really is an old convent, it has a distinctive historic charm that made the stay feel special. A lovely place to stay while passing through Dalwallinu.

After finishing a trip down the Canning Stock Route, we were looking forward to a hot shower and warm bed. We were horrified to find the sheets on our bed hadn’t been changed. The shower was good, though. We appreciated the quick response, and the sheets were changed. Issue resolved, thank you.
