This place has a whole vibe. The room was super clean and nicely set up, and that bed had me sleeping like I had no responsibilities.

I was really disappointed and left a night early. The photos don’t show what the place actually looks like. The pool and shared areas were dirty and unappealing, and the shower and toilet were very basic. At least the beds were clean, and the room stayed cool with effective air conditioning.

I spent six months living here in 1991, back when it was called Faulty Towers. I loved it and came away with lifelong friends and memories. From the Google photos, it looks like the only thing that’s changed is the paint. I hope this place never disappears. Sam

The pictures gave a very different impression, and the hostel didn’t have the atmosphere we expected. The kitchen and pool area were dirty, so we didn’t feel like spending time there. We wanted to enjoy the rest of our Darwin stay somewhere else and asked for a refund for the last couple of days, but management wouldn’t work with us. I wouldn’t recommend this hostel.
