The location is near town and the house was clean when we stayed for two nights recently. A few things could be improved to make it more comfortable for everyone: there was no scourer for scrubbing dirty dishes, and we found two unwashed coffee cups and a plate in the pantry. The downstairs master bedroom and the room next to it felt damp, possibly because they’d been unoccupied during the long lockdown winter. The owner should open the doors or windows for air circulation. There was no table wiping cloth or paper towel, and the shower in the downstairs master bedroom bathroom didn’t get warm enough.

There’s a great view over the lake and countryside, and the township is close by. The place has a modern feel while still being charming, with recently renovated ensuites, a great living area and deck. A great option for groups of 8-10.

The views were amazing, and it’s a good-sized property with an ensuite in every bedroom. There were some maintenance issues that need attention, and the owners have been notified.
