Daylesford Spa Accommodation

We really liked the location and facilities, but the leaking AC made the stay stressful. We told management, and they suggested setting it to 21°C, but it kept leaking. We had to use towels to stop the water reaching the fridge, then eventually turned the unit off. We enjoyed the stay overall, but this issue needs to be addressed.

We had a pleasant two-night stay in apartment C. It’s in a great spot, less than 1 km from the town centre, supermarket and pubs. Communication was excellent and the room was clean and tidy. There was some noise from the apartment above and the one next door, but it wasn’t too bad.

The manager was kind enough to move me and offer a free dinner at their other hotel for my last night, which I happily took. The Daylesford spa had noisy guests who seemed to forget other people were paying to stay there, and my visit was nearly spoiled. I’d recommend the Albert Hotel instead. It’s quieter, more boutique, and feels more intimate. Thanks to the manager and staff for being so helpful, and for the great service.

We had a nice two-night stay in Apartment D, and the place had good facilities. The owner also communicated clearly about how to get in. A couple of things needed attention, though: there was opened milk left in the fridge from the previous guests, and the glasses were dirty, so we washed them before using them. Noise from people using the spas in other apartments carried clearly into our place, and went on late enough to make sleeping difficult. Otherwise, a nice spot.
