The cottage was warm, inviting and beautifully decorated, with very comfortable beds and a lovely touch from the cute welcome basket. Foxmere is also perfectly placed for exploring, just a short walk or drive from Lake Daylesford and the main street. We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to come back.

Foxmere worked really well for our stay. The beds and amenities were comfortable, and we loved being near Lake Daylesford for walks. It’s pet friendly, so it could suit people travelling with pets as well as families or couples. Daylesford town and sights like Jackson’s lookout, Sailors falls and Lavandula farm are nearby too. Would highly recommend.

We found the cottage clean and cosy, and the wood heater was lovely on cool days and evenings. It’s a gorgeous place, close to all the cafes and restaurants on the Main Street. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it.

Nice place, but it was very, very cold even in summer. The wood fire heater is really old and I’d be very concerned about using it. The beds were so uncomfortable, almost like sleeping on the floor.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable, and we weren’t willing to use the wood heater because it badly needed replacing. We also couldn’t hang our clothes since the wardrobe in the main bedroom was locked. A disappointing stay.
