The website didn't make it clear to me that we'd be sharing the place, and we were completely caught off guard. We expected a B&B room for just me and my partner, but arrived to find a camp bed set up beside ours, leaving barely any room and blocking the lovely window seat. The lounge was shared with two other couples, which made the stay uncomfortable. I've never booked a B&B expecting to share it with strangers, so be aware this isn't a romantic getaway. The kitchen was blocked off, too. Our room didn't have a TV, so at least we had a little space of our own. The beds and pillows were hard.

The rooms were homely, quaint, and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. We had delicious breakfasts and a very enjoyable stay. Daylesford centre and Main Rd, with all that comes with it, are just a short walk away. A great base for a trip to Daylesford. Recommended.

The hosts are the best part, such lovely people who made the whole stay a beautiful experience. The house itself is charming and the garden is beautiful. You have to go here.

Everything was beautiful, down to the chocolates on the bed, electric blankets, and even a glass of port. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us. We loved staying here.
