Lakesea Park

The cottage was comfortable and had the essentials, including a kitchen with everything we needed to cook. That was a relief given the park’s remote setting and limited nearby dining options. I’d like to book one of the raised cabins with ocean views next time. Guests there mentioned seeing colorful budgies and other birds from their balconies, which I’d love to see myself. Kangaroos roamed freely around Lakesea Caravan Park, just as I’d hoped. I enjoyed watching waterfowl in the marsh by the peaceful lake, and the ocean was on the other side of the park. The lush paths through mangroves and succulents on the way to the pristine beach felt magical.

A quiet, lovely caravan park in mid to late July. The amenities were clean, there was plenty of hot water, and friendly kangaroos were everywhere. The beach is close by for fishing, sunbathing or surfing.

Staff were very accommodating, and our cabin was clean and tidy. We stayed for a week at this beautiful caravan park, with lovely wildlife and access to the beach. We’ll definitely be back.

Looks like a thumbs up on first glance, with a nice location and plenty of space. I had a look around, but didn’t actually stay here since I was based at Batemans Bay.
