The grounds have a big grassy area, a pool and a games court. I stayed one night and found the room moderately sized, with a great bed and TV. The utensils, fridge and microwave were useful, though the table and two tub chairs made the window side feel cramped. The renovated bathroom was excellent, with a large double-head shower. Reception was friendly and welcoming. Recommended.

The pool was fab, and we had such a comfortable stay in a quiet, spacious unit. It was very clean and felt safe, with comfy beds and a lovely bathroom. Management were friendly and accommodating, and the housekeepers helped us so much, even taking photos of us in our Cup dresses. Great value and a really well-run place. Can't fault The Barclay. We liked having the indoor pool, and the staff were helpful whenever we had questions. The room was clean but a little dated. The bathroom and toilet doors had no locks, so for privacy we ended up putting the front door's do not disturb sign on them. The beds were clean, comfortable and nice and firm for us. The location is handy, within walking distance of the centre and close to the water and coastal walking tracks. We'd stay again.

We'd definitely come back. The service was excellent, and the rooms were very clean. Our family of four had plenty of room and beds in a three-bedroom apartment, and the beds were very comfortable. There's a heated pool, though we didn't use it. I can recommend this place for families.

We booked on the day and got a really prompt reply. The room was spacious, modern, neat and clean, and the beds were comfy. On a cold day, it was a thoughtful touch to have the heater on before we arrived. The room felt cosy, we'd recommend it, and we'll stay again when we're back.
