We had lunch at the cafe and really enjoyed it. The new owners, who've been there a couple of months, were welcoming and friendly. Our lamb and chicken shish kebabs were delicious. We also spotted butter chicken and lamb rogan josh going to nearby tables, and they looked very appetising. Dessert was Japanese pancakes, light and fluffy, with relaxing views over the water. Lovely spot for good food, friendly service and a beautiful view.

Dannebrog was quiet, clean and tidy, and the hostess was super helpful. The onsite cafe also did great coffee and breakfast. We'd previously stayed at a Hotel/Motel down the road, where pub noise went on until 10 and cars were starting noisily from 6:30am. This place was a great place to stay.

The river views are excellent, the coffee is good, and the meals are freshly made. Staff were very friendly and cheerful. The cake selection was a little limited to have with morning coffee, but we'll be back to try the meals.

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to the lovely hosts and a beautiful, spacious room. The location is perfect, right across from the water, where you can watch the boats come and go. Would highly recommend.

The shower took ages to heat up and was so cramped I kept banging my arm on the wall. In the morning I regretted using it, though the rest of the place was okay for one night if you don't spend much time in the room. On arrival, the bin was overflowing with rotten KFC, the fridge was so small it struggled to fit a Coke bottle and a small milk carton, and the skirting boards were thick with dust. The TV took 20 minutes to turn on and lagged whenever I pressed a button.
