Pacific Paradise Motel

I booked this place because it's close to Sunshine Coast Airport and asked for an early check-in. On arrival I called the number and was given a key code. The room was clean, but there were no little snacks, and the tiled step up to the bathroom is a painful trip hazard. I tried reception after 2pm, but the door was still locked. The traffic noise is dreadful. Heavy vehicles and cars were passing and beeping constantly from 5.23am on the main road, about 30 metres away. There's no noise blockage on site, and the room windows don't seal shut. Earplugs should be provided. There is no supported transport to the airport from here, which is surprising. The office lady, who I think is the owner, was really friendly, and I only have positive things to say about her. The pool area was nice for relaxing, although the traffic noise comes with the location. My room was tidy and had clearly had some effort put into modernising it. For the price and how close it is to the airport, it was perfect for a night and did the job. I wouldn't choose it for a lavish holiday, though. Thanks for a comfortable night.

I stayed for a few months and had amazing service. Jacqui the manager was great to talk to. My two-year-old daughter had lots of room for her toys and ball pit, and we had a queen and a single bed. I never had any room issues, and whenever something did come up, it was sorted pretty quickly.

The room was a decent size for the price, and the staff were friendly. The main problem was the bed. It's on wheels, so it rolls around easily when you turn over. I also wish there were a door between the main room and the walk-in area. Without one, you have to get dressed in the bathroom, where there's nowhere to put clothes if the towels are already up. Not a bad place if you're on a budget.
