The Breakfast Basket had all the usual morning treats, plus complimentary organic peaches and bananas grown on site. We had such a restful weekend here. After the tiring Friday drive through Brisbane traffic, the few beers waiting in the fridge were a welcome surprise. Evenings were lovely: ducks on the pond, frogs calling, and cows wandering by the lake while we cooked rump steak on the barbecue and sipped merlot on the verandah of Sweet Lavender cottage. A soak in the spa finished it off, and we slept beautifully. The cottages are a great choice if you want a quiet, relaxing break in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
