Marysville Garden Cottages

The owner, a sunny and welcoming lady who cares for the wonderful garden, put me in the beautiful Spring cottage. I got to enjoy all that greenery as a city girl, and the cottage was decorated with such attention to detail. It was spotless and so welcoming I didn't want to leave. I slept for 10 hours in one of the most comfortable beds. I’d seen the place advertised for a one-night stay, so I stopped during my road trip to rest. There’s no internet, which was actually good for a detox. Everything was wonderful!

I stayed four nights in Orchard Cottage and loved the hot chocolate, the welcome gift and the quality of the supplies. It was such a lovely, cosy and relaxing place. The gardens were beautiful and immaculate, and shops and cafes were close by. Just beautiful!

The service was great, and Anthony and Tracy made this a memorable stay. The owner pops in to restock things, and we got a good deal for staying several nights. They also gave us lots of information about activities and restaurants, including menus and opening times. The cottage is an easy walk from several places to eat, which suited us since there's no cooking in the cottage. There is a fridge, microwave, and tea and coffee. We stayed in Orchard Cottage and found it clean and comfortable. They greeted us with chocolates, then brought a vase of flowers partway through our stay. Everything is provided, including good-quality shampoo and body wash. We loved the details, like the TV that doubles as a mirror, wall coat hook, plantation blinds, stained glass window and decking. It was great to choose between a bath and shower, and the shower head felt like a rain shower. The bed was comfy, the cottage had lots of natural light, and the surrounding garden was lovely and well cared for. It’s a great couples' getaway. There’s no WiFi because the telco provider's infrastructure isn't very good yet.

Tracy was such a friendly, welcoming host. We stayed in the delightful Winter cottage, which was modern, spacious and comfortable in a beautiful garden setting. Cafes and shops are close enough to walk to, so we could get everywhere on foot. We'd definitely stay again.
