The room was clean, so thank you for that, but the bathroom needs maintenance. The showerhead wouldn't stay up and the twisted shower door wouldn't close properly, which was really frustrating. There were also small ants on the spare bed. Without dishwashing liquid, we couldn't wash the cups and dishes, and there was no microwave to heat food. We're travelling a long way, and all the other motels have had one. Some repairs and upkeep would make a big difference.

The room was a great size, with comfortable beds, working air conditioning and a clean private bathroom. A microwave would be a useful addition. This was a great place to stay, and I'll definitely book again.

The Oxley was well located, with plenty of food choices in easy walking distance. My room wasn't luxurious or especially large, but it was perfectly serviceable for what I needed. There was a huge desk and a Smart TV that let me log into my streaming apps easily. On the hot days I went for a swim, and the pool was fantastic, cool and very clean. I had a great stay.

I stayed one night at the Oxley in December 2025. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, though the carpets were dirty and could use a good clean. They provided three complimentary bottles of water, which was a nice surprise, as I haven't had that before. There were only two small cups and one teaspoon, so a couple of mugs would be good. I'd stay again.

After seven hours on the road, the complimentary water was very welcome. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, though the carpet was quite dirty and needs a proper clean. We loved our stay, but more cutlery and a couple of coffee mugs would be great.
