The peaceful setting is what makes this smaller resort so special. There’s so much natural beauty around, with lovely beaches nearby and lakes to explore. It’s well worth a visit, and I’d definitely come back. The reception and maintenance staff were easygoing and lovely, which made the stay nicer than at some bigger resorts. Be sure to check out seal rocks and Forster Tuncurry.
A pleasant place overall, with clean, fairly spacious rooms and a balcony with a great view. The medium sized pool was looked after well and had a hot tub too. Getting internet access was difficult, and the arcade machines felt somewhat overpriced. Still, I didn’t find much else to fault.
There’s a lot here to use, including BBQ facilities, a tennis court, a pool, Foxtel in the rooms and a kitchen in each room. The Elizabeth bay recreation club is an easy walk away, and so are plenty of beaches. Awesome spot.
The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. It’s a great quiet spot, while still being close to Forster. The place is starting to look a little dated and show its age.
The resort felt crowded, which cut into privacy, though my villa had a good lookout. Parking may be tricky unless you’re a confident driver. I found management very inflexible about late checkouts, which is highly unusual in my experience.
