Emu Bay Holiday Homes is a beautiful coastal property set on 5 acres of gardens with native trees where birds and wildlife abound. Accommodation is fully self-catering with all linen, bath towels, basic condiments, coffee/tea and well equipped kitchens/kitchenettes. Two cabins, two cottages, three houses and an apartment caters for singles, couples, families and groups of all sizes. Each unit has its own unique sea views of Emu Bay and they are spread out allowing each guest their own space, peace and tranquillity.

The setting is unique, but the house needs better upkeep and cleaning for a comfortable stay. When we arrived there was a noticeable smell inside, and it didn't seem to have been cleaned to the expected standard. The BBQ didn't work, and penguin droppings heavily soiled the deck, making it hard to use. Penguins were very noisy overnight as well. After dark, getting to the house was tricky because the path was uneven and unlit.

Jireh's ocean views and the surrounding nature and wildlife made the location feel just right. The house was spotless, well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Zac and Dirk were attentive, easy to reach and made sure we felt at home. This was the highlight of our time on Kangaroo Island, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We'd love to return and highly recommend it.

Bayview was so comfortable, with a lovely calming view, and we came away feeling relaxed and happy. We spotted koalas and kangaroos too. Zanne and Dirk were amazing, and this place is a real gem. I'd highly recommend it.

The view was amazing, and we really enjoyed the garden. Cottage 4 was clean and had everything we needed, with enough room for 4 adults. The owners also checked in to see that everything was working as expected and that we were comfortable.
