The Jetty Resort

The apartment is a good size and parking is good, but it still didn't feel worth the price. No toaster in the room! Who does that? Day-to-day management could be better. The barbecues aren't cleaned, and good management would have spotted that and told the cleaners to deal with it.

Jetty Resort has a calm, friendly feel, and it’s easy to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. The waterfront setting is its biggest draw, with lovely views, beach access and sunsets over the water. It makes a relaxed coastal break for families, couples or anyone wanting time by the sea. The rooms are clean, practical and comfortable for short or longer stays. Self-contained options make it easy to settle in, and the well-kept grounds add to the peaceful atmosphere. Shops, restaurants and local attractions are close, so it’s a handy base for exploring without travelling far. A pleasant, memorable choice for a simple and scenic coastal stay in WA.

We really appreciated the safe off-street parking, with easy access to our room, and the kitchen in the room was handy for our two-night stay. The day-before text confirming the reservation and giving the motel address was helpful too. The room was spotless, from the linen and carpets to the kitchen and bathroom. It may be the cleanest motel room I've ever stayed in. Everything about our visit was exceptional, including the very reasonable price.

I was lucky to get an Ocean View Room this time, and the beds have always been comfortable and the rooms clean. But this visit wasn't as good as previous ones. There was only warm water for evening showers, then no hot water at all in the morning. I wasn't the only guest who raised it with management. They rushed around to investigate, though I believe the problem wasn't new. On an earlier visit, the water was only tepid. It turned out the gas pilot lights had gone out. More worrying, the water tank's blow-off pipe was directly above a live power outlet. Management seemed pretty nonchalant and apologized for the inconvenience, but that was all. If you want quiet, avoid a room facing the road. If the view matters less than peace and quiet, choose a room elsewhere.
