The people are what make this lodge special. Claire and Al have run it for 15 years, and the food has been consistently five-star. After skiing, it’s lovely to come back for a hot shower, then sit down to a three-course dinner and good conversation. Kids are well cared for too, with their favorite foods served early before they head upstairs to the games and TV rooms. No wonder families come back. And Mojo is always around, friendly and exceptionally well behaved. The lodge itself is an older-style alpine place, warm and comfortable, with a big fire greeting you at the entrance. Rooms have plenty of storage, and the huge ski and drying rooms mean your gear is dry by morning. It’s close to shuttle stop 2, a short walk uphill, with a ski route down to Hayley's and the village return trail leading right to the front door.

We only stayed two nights, but we’re already thinking about coming back to Riparoo. The staff were welcoming, the facilities were great, and the ski-in, ski-out location made things easy. Breakfast had lots to choose from, and we really enjoyed the three-course dinner.

Claire and Al keep Ripparoo in good shape and make the place feel friendly and cheerful. We spent six days there and the food was the standout: breakfast had a broad mix of hot and cold options, and dinner was superb, with three tasty, imaginative courses each night. Thanks for a great stay.

My partner and I had a great time here. It’s a welcoming lodge right in the middle of the village, with breakfast and dinner provided. They say it has the best food in Falls Creek, and I agree. They even made vegan meals. Really friendly atmosphere and a great community.

We came for a company function. The accommodation was basic, but clean, and the staff made everyone feel at home. Breakfast was hearty, and they did a great job with the catered dinner. I’d definitely come back with my family.
