10/10
I stayed for two nights in a front room. It was a bit noisier from traffic than the back rooms I've stayed in before, though not too bad. The beds make up for it, they're really comfortable and better than beds in other hotels I've paid a lot more for. Great value for money.

The staff were really helpful when I made a big mistake with my booking and needed it fixed. It's 10 minutes from everything I wanted to do, and just a 2 minutes walk to a great bar with fabulous food.

A clean, affordable place to stop while driving through. A couple and their dog made good use of the smaller room, and recent renovations have spruced the place up. Staff asked if I needed more kitchen utensils. I'd recommend it to budget-conscious travelers passing through for a drop off.

Everything is neat and tidy, and the guesthouse is better than the pictures they posted. They've renovated and upgraded everything, all for an affordable price. I highly recommend staying here. That 3.6-star rating is unfair to them.

We stayed here about 7 years ago, and it's now been upgraded with well-appointed rooms. Recommended.
