We loved our second visit to Bay Escapes just as much as the first. The villa was immaculate, and everything from the helpful messages before we arrived to the welcome note and arrival information made the stay feel easy and thoughtful. We came with our young daughter and dog, and the hosts had offered and supplied things they thought might help us. One of the best dog-friendly places we've stayed. We can't wait to return, and we'd happily recommend Bay Escapes.
The villa was spotless and spacious, with linen and towels in great condition. There are lovely long walks for dogs nearby, and Bagnalls beach or Salamander bay are only a short drive away if you're after a dog-accessible beach. The hosts provide all the details you need and go out of their way to make sure guests are set up. We also appreciated the handwritten card, dog treats, Tim Tams and pantry items. We had a really enjoyable stay with our fur baby.
Fingal Bay shops are an easy walk away, and several beaches and a good range of restaurants are within 10 Km. We came back to the Bent Street cottages for our second annual August holiday in 2024, with our Westie, Poppy, and it was every bit as pleasant as our first visit. The cottages are bright, airy and very clean, with comfortable furniture, modern fittings and ducted climate control. They're well equipped and suited to dogs. Andrew and Michelle were friendly, thoughtful hosts, with extras like dog treats. We hope to return in 2025.
The beach, shops and a great pet-friendly cafe are all an easy walk from Echoes @ Fingal Bay, which made the location ideal for our short July stay. The unit was immaculate, roomy and well equipped for our daughter, our three grandsons aged 12, 11 and 9, and our two-year-old Lab Retriever. Thanks to Michelle and Andrew for a great stay. We'd certainly plan to come back to this spot soon.
We found the villa really well furnished, and having books and games there would be great for families and kids. The Echoes 1 Netflix profile was a clever touch, so we didn't have to use our own. Everything was so clean and organised, with no animal smell at all, a 10/10 for cleanliness from us. The cleaning supplies were excellent, Ellie's treat bag was lovely, and we enjoyed the Tim Tams left on the bench. Booking nearly 12 months ahead was straightforward, with payments through a secure link. Michelle & Andrew were responsive and went the extra mile whenever we had a question. Fantastic stay, and we'd recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday with their fur family.
