Lynne made our weekend extra special. She was warm and genuine, and nothing was too much trouble. She arranged a local restaurant reservation and a pickup and drop-off, then personally drove us to a wedding nearby. The grounds are beautiful and clearly well cared for, and breakfast was exceptional. We had a great weekend.

There’s no mobile reception, but there’s plenty to enjoy around the place: board games, cards, magazines and books, outdoor seating, and a communal fire in the evening. The friendly, helpful hostess served an awesome breakfast. We also had a great experience overall, with a very clean, tidy room, a comfortable bed and soft, generously sized towels. The old-fashioned decor suited the cozy feel. Fresh flowers, robes, air conditioning and a TV were in the room, and we were welcomed with homemade carrot cake, tea and coffee. There’s an outdoor hot tub too.

Even though we stayed just one night, the lovely host did everything she could to make us comfortable. The accommodation was clean and tidy, with sweet, fresh decor and thoughtful little touches that made it feel cozy. Breakfast was included in the price, which we hadn’t realised, and I had eggs benedict. It’s just 1.2km from Flaxton Gardens, where we were attending a wedding. If you need a break from life, I highly recommend this place. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

On our way to Townsville, my partner and I stopped here and couldn’t have asked for a better B&B. The host was incredibly considerate, and our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious too. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

The host was friendly and welcoming, and our large room had a super comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The location is lovely and really convenient, just off the main road. Couldn’t ask for anything else!
