Boat Reflections

The room and beds were clean, and the shower was refreshing. There was heating too. More than anything, the man running the place gave me and my children a safe, comforting place to stay during a stressful time while I got back on my feet. Thank you so much. If we need somewhere when we’re down this way again, we’ll stay here.

We were treated to fog and incredible sunrises, with amazing views across the river from the front. It’s a quiet, friendly community and a handy base for exploring the wider valley. Scott greeted us when we arrived and gave us tips on local attractions and places to visit. Thanks, Scott. I hope more visitors get to enjoy this beautiful stretch of river.

The room felt warm and inviting, with a modern finish, tidy surroundings, nice river views, and a bath that made it easy to unwind on cooler evenings and plan the next day. Boat Reflections is a high-class, motel-style place in Franklin, just a short stroll along the waterfront to cafes, restaurants, and the Wooden Boat Centre. We stayed four nights, which worked well as a base for seeing the Huon Valley. A short drive takes you to places like the Huon River Cruise, Tahune airwalk, Hartz Mountains, Hastings caves, Southport, Dover, and Cockle Creek. There’s a lot to explore, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

The water views and handy spot made this a great find, with the local shops all within walking distance. Scott built the place and has done a lovely job. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed, and Scott was happy too. Thanks! We hope to see you again. Keep on keeping on! 👍
