A homely feel, a lovely host and an excellent location. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Everything was 101% for us. Whenever I’m in Geelong or nearby, BVL will be my place to stay. ❤️

It’s peaceful and restful here, with a lovely park-like setting beside the Barwon. Across the road there’s a park with running trails and riverside walks. A supermarket and shops are two minutes away by car, and from there it’s an easy drive into town and Westfield Mall. The rooms are warm, spacious and well equipped. Each bedroom had a heat pump and electric blanket, and there seem to be great facilities for families. The proprietors were friendly and very helpful, even when I thought I’d broken the Nespresso!

We spent five nights at Barwon Valley Lodge and would happily book it again on our next trip to Geelong. The location beside the Barwon River and park areas was quiet, and the accommodation and grounds were nicely spaced, with a lovely pool area. It felt like a home away from home. Our unit was comfortable, very clean and well maintained, with great amenities. The staff were considerate and helpful. It’s a real gem, and we’d recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful Labour Day long weekend at Barwon Valley Lodge and are definitely coming back. The owners were very helpful, and the location was good. The units are a good size, with full kitchens and comfortable furniture. There was plenty for the family to enjoy: a clean heated pool and spa, bikes, tennis, Foxtel, frisbee and even EV charging. Other holiday parks can be crowded and charge for some amenities, but that wasn’t the case here.

Twenty-six of us shared a wonderful Christmas at this gorgeous resort. The hosts were gracious and extremely helpful, the rooms were spotless and fully equipped, and the pool and surrounds were beautiful and clean. We had Christmas lunch in the lovely gazebo. It was a fun, stress-free family celebration, and we’ll be back. 👏👏👏👏👏 One small suggestion: security screen doors on the front door could help with airflow.
