La Bella Vita

The breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were beautiful. The house looked stunning inside and out, and the property was clearly well maintained. Our host was wonderfully accommodating, with great hospitality throughout, and there was plenty of refrigeration and a lovely pool table. I stayed with my girlfriend and another couple, and we all absolutely loved it. It felt quite luxurious for the price. I travel a lot, and this was probably the best accommodation of its type I've come across. If I'm in Geelong, this is my go-to. Love it, love it, love it.

I only needed a place for one night after an accommodation mix-up left me looking for somewhere at the last minute for a family gathering on the busiest night of the year, NYE. A quick Google search turned up La Bella Vita, a lovely property with a calm, relaxing feel. It's just a short drive outside Geelong City, which reminded me that the best accommodation doesn't always have to be right in the city centre. I was very grateful to Joan for going above and beyond to make sure I had somewhere to sleep.

Tiny birds kept me entertained in the beautiful garden, including blue wrens, Willy wagtails, sparrows and several others. La Bella Vita feels like a place where you can step away from your usual routine and enjoy some peace and quiet in the country. Joan and Trevor have clearly put a lot of hard work into making guests' visits enjoyable. The property is also not far from the scenery along Great Ocean Road and the excellent eateries in Geelong and the surrounding area. A great spot for a holiday.

The rooms had well-equipped facilities and luxury fittings, including superb linen, and the location was ideal. We stayed for three nights, and Trevor and Joan were very helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their stunning property comes highly recommended, and we'll certainly return next time we're in the region.
