The beds were an absolute 15/10. It's the best hostel I've stayed at in Sydney, and I've stayed at 5 others so far. If you want to feel at home without actually being home, this is the place. Trust me, just book it!

The place has a nice building and a great location for a good price, and I love the big kitchen. The rooms also have their own bathroom, toilet and shower. But the cleanliness really needs work, especially in the rooms and showers. There was lots of mould in the shower and in the aircon, and I could smell it when I walked into the bathroom. The floors hadn't been mopped or vacuumed, and I had to take my rubbish to the bin even though there was a bin in the room. With cleanliness like this, I wouldn't want to stay long or be comfortable. It would be a great place if it were cleaner.

I've never stayed anywhere this disgustingly dirty. The bathrooms and rooms simply aren't cleaned. There were pee and defecation stains in the toilets, and snot on the shower walls that never got cleaned up. They swept rubbish and dust under the beds instead of vacuuming. Our door also wouldn't lock. Do not come here if you don't want to catch a disease. I seriously do NOT recommend it.

The beds in the hostel bunks were really good, and the premises felt clean and relatively new. It's not a party hostel, which I think is a good thing. The one thing I wasn't keen on was using a mobile app for the keycard system. Shoutout to the rooftop's little gym : ) If you want somewhere quiet and chill to rest, this is the place. Good value for your money.

It honestly felt unhealthy to stay in the building I was assigned to. The room smelled awful, there was visible mould on the ceilings and in the bathrooms, and the sink was flooded and wouldn't drain properly. The hygiene overall was disgusting. I'd booked a private room through Booking.com months in advance, but the day before I arrived they called to say it was no longer available because of “damage”. My options were a bed in a shared four-person room or a refund. Since it’s hard to find last-minute accommodation in Sydney, I felt pressured to accept. It seems they operate from two different buildings and put guests in both, so the online photos may not show the building you'll actually be given.
