There was no breakfast, but that’s part of why the price is budget. It’s away from the central district, so it’s quieter, and the basics are covered. Our room had a view, often of the local mob of kangaroos. We stayed three nights without being interrupted, and always had clean, fresh towels and toiletries. The pillows were great and the room was nice and warm. The bathroom taps need replacing because they were very hard to turn off.

A good basic room for a decent price, and the owner is very friendly. There’s a garden out back with kangaroos, and the night sky is great for watching.

Clean, comfortable room and an easy place to get to from the highway, just south of Glenn Innes. Getting to the rooms was simple, and check-in was friendly and straightforward. Great value for money.

The carpets were filthy, with black stains, and the TV signal was awful. There were no cups or disposable cutlery, just two teaspoons and mugs. It took ages for the hot water to start, then kept switching between hot and cold. I came out in a bumpy rash less than a day later, though it could have been bed bugs. We stayed two nights while visiting family. Never again 🤦♀️

Don’t expect anything flash, but this budget Highway motel was a good stay for travellers passing through. The room was clean and well appointed, with a sufficiently comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean, if pokey, and had good water pressure. There’s undercover parking for the car.
