Winn and Roger took us down to their orchard and let us pick fresh fruit, which made the weekend feel magical. It was our first visit with the family, and the place was warmer than our house for sure. I’ve already booked another stay, this time with the dogs.

We came back to Sydney feeling properly relaxed and recharged. The Drinan family have thought of everything for a lovely stay, and it was great that the place welcomed pets. The cottage and hosts were lovely, and the family history around Glendon Brook was interesting, especially knowing descendants of the original family still live in the area.

The views and surrounding area are breathtaking, and the lodge has everything you need. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot, with kind and helpful hosts. Being dog friendly was another plus. I couldn’t recommend The Wattle Lodge enough.

Our 18month old loved seeing the owner's chicken, and we really enjoyed the fresh eggs. The lodge was gorgeous, very clean, and furnished with care and attention to detail. The owners were friendly, and we could bring our puppy along. Highly recommend it, and we’ll go again.

The cows came over to say hello most days, which was the icing on the cake. The place was clean and lovely, with stunning views. Winn and Roger were great hosts to my wife, our two dogs, and me.
