We were already looking forward to getting back to Green Gully House after heading out for Saturday lunch. Back at the house, we changed into our trackies and had a local red by the fire. The firewood was ready, and everything else we needed was there too, from coffee pods and cooking gear to lovely books, magazines, towels and soaps. Nothing was missing, broken or a bit tired, and the place was spotless. The three of us had such a great girls weekend and can’t wait to stay again. The autumn garden is gorgeous, with rolling hills and fresh country air all around. Inside, the whole house is lovely, and I’m especially obsessed with the dining table. Huge thanks to the hosts, we’d highly recommend it.

It was tempting to stay tucked inside and enjoy the lovely outlook, even though there’s plenty to explore in the area. We spent a really relaxing week at Green Gully House, surrounded by bushland, with a well-kept garden and even a vegetable patch. The house is thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed to feel comfortable.

Waking up to birdsong and all that greenery helped us reconnect with nature and recharge. The home was cozy, welcoming and comfortable, with tasteful decor. Absolute serenity. We’d gladly come back and highly recommend it.
