The best parts were the location, about a 5-10 minute walk from Cavill Avenue, and the onsite parking. Everything else was rough. The room smelled musty and mouldy, there was mould on the sheets, and there was no air conditioning or fly screens. I tried calling several times from the Google business page. Nobody answered, and the hold music was a loud, high pitched alarm for two minutes before the call dropped. We tried to check in at 2 PM, but reception was empty. We stayed two nights and never saw anyone there.

The room was dirty, with dust everywhere, and the bed left me waking up with terrible back pain. We were given just one toilet roll for three nights, no soap, and the TV didn’t work. The couch was uncomfortable and the pillows were hard as rocks. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. When we arrived, reception said the key had been left in a lockbox, but it wasn’t there. We were stranded in the Gold Coast from 7 to 8 PM. Once we finally got the key, I was told I couldn’t get any compensation. I was fuming.

The view and location were excellent, and the apartment had good equipment. We also enjoyed the pool and the spa/sauna. But it was very dirty and needs better cleaning. There was food left under the tablecloth, my feet were black after walking barefoot for five minutes, and the plates and cutlery were crusty and all needed washing.

The room was old and smelled dusty, and we had no air conditioning. We were told Foxtel was included, but there wasn’t any. With the heat, the stay was very uncomfortable, and we couldn’t open the windows because there were no fly screens. I messaged Kyle at reception about the air con. He said the owner would refund us because it needed repairs, but management, Roy, never refunded us. They blocked my number after offering only $50, which I wasn’t happy with. Don’t stay here.
