We were pretty disappointed with The Prestige's condition for what we paid. The cupboards were gross, and on arrival we washed every plate and piece of cutlery because even the mesh shelves they sit on were visibly dirty. The houseboat also felt run down and badly in need of a very deep clean. We'd hired from them before and don't remember being this unimpressed. We sent feedback by email and they thanked us for it, though I guess there's not much they can do after the fact. Maybe check with them before booking?

Inside, our boat was lovely, and we had a wonderful family time cruising the Broadwater, which I've known for years. The exterior was in very poor shape, though. Customer service was appalling, too. The curly haired man with glasses at the front counter didn't seem happy, maybe he was depressed, but it made for a poor welcome for a $4000, five day holiday.

Keiko was a great boat and we loved the trip. I'd hired houseboats before, but this was my first time with Coomera. The staff clearly know their stuff, with practical advice from people who have experience. The boat's design works really well and it was comfortable in all kinds of weather. Highly recommend 👍👍

We spent beautiful days lounging on the jacuzzi deck and watching eagles divebomb as they fished, then lazy evenings laughing and cuddling on the comfy couches with sunset views all around. The upstairs area was great for hanging out, with its big screen TV, speakers, bar and extra fridge. The place is huge and well equipped, from the full kitchen with plenty of gear for cooking for a group to comfortable bedrooms with big windows that make them feel even more spacious. Coomera House boats gave us a clear, thorough briefing and good documentation, and were supportive whenever we had questions, always just a call away. Such a lovely adventure. I'd highly recommend it for spending quality time with your loved ones.

The online check-in made arrival quicker, and the Coomera Houseboats staff were great to deal with. We've now booked through them 16 times over the last 20 years and are already looking forward to trip 17. This time, eight mates and I spent three fantastic nights aboard Shenanigans on our annual houseboat trip. There was enough bedding for all nine of us, with both permanent and temporary beds. The kitchen had a large fridge, a separate large freezer, a microwave and other appliances. We made good use of the spacious top deck for fishing and relaxing, and the large back deck is a good spot to cast a line. The BBQ was a decent size compared with some other houseboats.
