The location was fantastic, and the outdoor area with its pool, BBQ and seating was great. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was new. The only snag was the back sliding glass door. It was very hard to open and close because the rollers need replacing and were metal on metal along the track. Otherwise, we'd definitely stay again.

This place ruined our holiday. The man running this overpriced dump was the rudest, and wouldn't let me take the room we'd booked at 1:58 pm. I was told two o'clock means two o'clock, even though cleaning was finished. He just seemed to enjoy being horrible. The rooms were worn out, the sliding door was incredibly hard to use, and ours stank of urine. The carpet was badly stained, and the whole place was overdue for an upgrade. Stay here only if every other option falls through.

The only good thing was being opposite Dreamworld. The room had a strong smell of urine, dirty stained curtains, and a filthy ironing board cover with a rusty board. The toilet leaked and the bathroom floor was wet. There's built up mould in the shower, the cupboards are dodgy, and the bathroom needs renovating. The rooms are very old and tired, with what looks like a kicked in hole in a door.

It cost us $604 for two nights in September, and we booked a double room but got a room with three beds, all on wheels. We had to stay because of a family matter, but the place was abysmal. There was blood on my pillow and a tooth axe under the bed. Don't stay here unless there's no alternative. Getting in was a pain, and there was no reserved parking, just first come, first served. In the room, the couch was against the wall beneath the TV, and the step into the bathroom was about 3 cm above the floor. I nearly stubbed my toe on it. The bathroom door only opened if you turned the knob the wrong way. The basin taps were filthy, ran constantly and couldn't be turned off. The toilet bowl was cracked, and when flushed, water ran across the floor to a drain in the middle of the bathroom. The next room's plumbing came through our bathroom wall into a shared trap, making a lot of noise when they used the sink or shower. The aircon and fan were new, at least, and cooled the room. There was a huge sign telling us to switch off the aircon when leaving, but it was 38 outside, so I left it running. Trying to sit up in bed was another problem. The bed wheels sent it halfway across the room, with my wife and both pillows ending up in a heap behind it. It was nearly funny. We moved the very heavy couch to the end of the bed, which stopped it rolling when we sat up to read and let us watch TV from either the bed or couch. Oh, and the toilet was made from three recycled parts of different ages and colours.
