We were unsure what the surrounding area would be like, given the apartment is in Surfers Paradise, but the street was actually very quiet. Cavill Avenue and the other nearby spots are only a couple of minutes away, and there are plenty of good restaurants. The beach and lightrail stop are a one or two minute walk away. We had a great week at Costa D‘Ora Holiday Apartments. Gary and Helen manage the place and were there with advice whenever we had questions. The apartment was clean and cozy, with everything we needed, plus AC and a spacious terrace. Gary also invited us up to Q1 (Skypoint) and gave us a little tour from above of Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast. That was a real highlight, and so kind of him. Big recommendation, and thanks to Gary and Helen!

Our apartment was just right for the two of us, and close to all the amenities and attractions. The management and staff were lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended, and I'd definitely stay again next time. Thank you 😊

Costa D'Ora was well located in the middle of everything, and excellent value for money. It felt a lot like home. Is my home fancy? No. But it has everything I need: a quiet room, big bed, generous shower, well equipped kitchen and laundry machine. Olga, the host, is a real treasure.

Belinda, the owner, was amazing, so welcoming, and even took us up the Q1 so we wouldn't get charged. We first stayed four nights, then came back again after the weekend. Costa D’Ora is about a 2-3 minute walk to the beach, where you can walk towards Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise. The Surfers Paradise strip is around seven minutes away on foot. Our lower ground room had a balcony seating area and a washing machine. It was spotless and had all the cooking gear, including a microwave, cutlery and oven. The room photos with the red sofa and dated look had put us off at first, but in person it was nothing like that. The rooms were great and really cozy.

Watch out when booking, use the apartment directly or make sure the website is reputable. We ended up paying nearly double through some ripoff site. The apartment itself was really good value for self catering, right in the heart of Surfers Paradise. We also got a complimentary tour up to Skypoint, where we saw a great view of the Gold Coast.
