Foreshore Apartments

The water views were stunning, and the apartment was spotless, roomy, and right on the beach with all the amenities we needed. We had a lovely stay. Since we're in our 70s, we would have liked more restaurants within an easier walking distance.

The rooms themselves were fine, but the bathroom and bedrooms had a musty, mouldy smell. The bedroom windows were quite dirty too, which was a shame given we chose the place for its beachfront views. Wi-Fi kept dropping out or running very slowly, and the hot water didn't last through many showers. Our family of four had to keep showers short, with low pressure, so everyone could have one. There wasn't enough time to wash our hair, and one shower head only worked halfway, with other parts blocked. We could hear neighbours walking and talking, as well as dogs barking, through the walls. There was also a family of ants living on or in the plant. Our stay was okay, but these things would need to improve for a better review.

The apartment was clean, and the beachfront location made it really good value. The rooms have old decor and could do with a revamp. A good option if you're after value.

We felt like locals in this complex, which seems to have quite a few owner-residents and only around 30 apartments. Cafes and restaurants were easy to reach on foot, and getting in and out was simple. We had a secure undercover parking space too. The newly renovated apartment felt luxurious, and the views of the ocean were beautiful from everywhere, even the dunny. Each morning we watched surfers in the view, which was fun as a non-surfer. Swim flags were up a little to the right and further to the left, so there were plenty of swimming options, including the complex's newly refurbished pool. I'd recommend the apartment.
