ULTIQA Freshwater Point Resort

I absolutely loved the stay and am looking forward to coming back. The room was amazing and the service was good. The location is fantastic, though crossing the bridge can be challenging when your back hurts. One big question: in 2026, why doesn't the kiosk have savoury food for vegetarians or any vegan food? Not all of us eat meat.

We had a three-day, two-night stay at ULTIQA Freshwater Point Resort and left feeling refreshed, already planning another visit. It was a peaceful place to come back to, while still being centrally located for Surfers Paradise, beaches, restaurants, and attractions. We enjoyed being close to everything without the crowds, and thought the combination of comfort, location, and value was spot on. The pool area was pristine and family-friendly. Our apartment was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with modern furnishings and everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and waking up to the water views was a highlight. Staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and always happy to assist. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone after a relaxing Gold Coast getaway.

We loved the apartment, its sunsets, and the great location, and we'd stay again. But maintenance and hygiene need to improve, especially for someone like me with a dust allergy. The bedroom floor had a decent layer of dust, and under the bed, sofa, and side tables was heavily dusty. After we reported it, it was promptly “cleaned,” but it still wasn't clean, so we had to ask them to come back. Our requests were handled properly, and AVC was very apologetic. The shower walls also hadn't been scrubbed for some time. I expect higher standards as an Accor VC member. The one-bedroom apartment was a good size, and the pool and spa also need attention. The pool looked very tired, with residue making the glass panels almost opaque. The spa was tired too, with chipped tiles and missing grout, and the water wasn't hot. The floor varnish was badly peeled by the entrance, which wasn't a good look.

I had a small problem with the washing machine and mentioned it to Matthews in the lift. He went straight over to help and showed me how it worked. Great service. The reception team, including Tia, were super friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. My apartment was very clean and well equipped for my seven-day stay. Everything was amazing, with 10/10 staff and a perfect location in the heart of Broadbeach, close to the shopping centre. I'll definitely be back.
