Sites 15 and 16 were easily the best spots in Ocean Beach Tourist Park. From the back gate it’s a quick stroll to a lovely little coffee shop, then on to the beach. The water stays shallow for several metres, the patrolled area between the yellow flags felt safer, and there were incredible numbers of shells along the shore. Pam was so helpful and friendly when we booked, and the couple at check-in were lovely too. Amenities were clean and well maintained. There’s no pool or kids’ activities, but with the beach right there, we didn’t need them. Our kids had a ball scootering around. A great, relaxed family getaway, and we’d happily stay again and again.

We had a powered site for two nights and found the amenities awesome, among the best equipped and maintained I’ve seen. It’s a quiet, relaxed, very family-oriented spot, right across from Miami Beach. I’ll be back next time I’m travelling through.

We were honeymooning on a road trip in our van and called to ask about a last-minute site. To our surprise, one was available. There was a little confusion when we arrived because the site had been double booked, but the staff were incredibly helpful and apologetic. We weren’t phased at all, and we sorted it out quickly with plenty of laughs and jokes. The team handled it beautifully, and we had a lovely stay in this small park right by the beach. Thank you for a beautiful stay, we’d 100% come back.

The amenities were clean every time we used them, and the beach is just across the road. We got around on Lime bikes, including a 25-30 minute ride to Surfers Paradise. When we checked in, the receptionist told us whales had been spotted in the sea, which was great to see! 😁

Bec and Pete are just the sort of park managers you hope for. We’ve just had our second holiday at Ocean Beach and already can’t wait to book again. It’s a lovely little park in a busy part of the Gold Coast, yet feels far from all the traffic and bustle. There’s a beautiful beach out front, cafes and shops within walking distance, spacious clean sites and great amenities. It feels safe for the kids to scoot around and play with other families. Definitely recommend!
