The chips were really crunchy and tasty, and the mashed potatoes were fresh and good too. The 250g rump steak costs $29, with your choice of one sauce from four, including peppercorn, and two sides from four options, including chips and mash. I prefer medium rare, and while the steak was almost entirely lean, I lowkey like some fat too. On Tuesdays the rump steak is $7 less and comes with a beer. Reasonable prices, a good-sized portion, decent service, and right in the heart of Palm Beach. 9 out of 10!

Julia was so helpful, cheerful, and humble when I had questions, and she even made my kids laugh. I had a wonderful experience with her and can’t wait to come back and have the same again. I hope all your staff are like Julia.

The live music from Brad Ledwidge was great, then we stayed on in the sports bar. The staff there were so welcoming, and the guy I think was called Tyson was lovely and helped me work through the wine list. I’ll definitely be back.

The chips were especially good, and the rest of the food was good too. Tyson made a great impression, greeting me warmly and remembering my drink. He has a kind, friendly manner and really knows how to look after customers.

Only one of the four things I tried to order was available. During peak holiday season, you need to have more of the menu ready. It’s a busy time to make money, so be prepared. No wonder it’s quiet.
