Surfers Beach Resort 2

For a 3-star place, I expected something very average, but it was clean and laid out nicely. The beach is around the corner, and it’s close to the city and all the attractions. There’s a nice BBQ area and a small but tidy pool. Mark, I think that was his name, welcomed us. Nice fella who loves a chat. I’ll stay here again when I’m on the Gold Coast.

The upstairs apartment was spotless and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and lovely white linen. I really liked the little starter pack in the kitchen and bathroom. It was also a quiet block, close to shopping and theme parks, and I hope to come back soon. I was so happy with my stay in February 2020 that I extended it. Cam and Elaine were great caretakers, funny, friendly and helpful.

Cam & Elaine were amazing hosts, and I couldn’t have asked for a better apartment. They deserve a medal for their hospitality, and I’ll definitely return. Surfers Beach Resort 2 ticks every box for a holiday: the beach is a five-minute walk, Broadbeach Oasis Shopping Centre is within walking distance, there’s a coffee shop down the road, and trams and buses are convenient. Thanks for making my little break so enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend it. Cheers 🥂

We cooked good meals and slept well in a comfortable, practical flat with a TV, laundry, kitchen and bathroom. The stairs were fine for my young sons, but a bit difficult for old me. It was the end of the holiday season, so vacancies were showing in other buildings. There were still enough people walking the beach, though not enough public toilets. Good fun, a good book and good coffee if you look for it. Maybe we’ll bring the family next year. Thanks Paul.
