The setting was beautiful, and the platters they provided were really convenient. We had complete privacy, which was a plus. My partner and I stayed in the Happy chalet for a romantic birthday week. Sitting in the spa with the glass doors open to the rainforest was a highlight. The days were warm and the nights mild, so even in summer we could sit by the wood stove. Would recommend.

We stayed in the One Stream and Spa room at Mouse’s Retreat, and it was magic, such a peaceful, private escape. The room was cosy and thoughtfully set up, and that spa was next level. We didn't want to get out. Check-in was easy and the amenities were great. We left feeling lighter, calmer and completely reset, and are already planning another stay. One of the best kept secrets on the Gold Coast.

We stayed three nights in the Cinderella Chalet and loved every minute. The creek right beside it was so lovely to listen to. The soft lighting and choice of indoor or outdoor spa baths and showers made the place feel really special. Even the bathroom finishes, great shower and complimentary toiletries were top quality. We can’t wait to come back!

We were able to walk to some of the best hiking trails in the Gold Coast hinterland, and only wished we’d had more time to explore. After a day on the trails, the spotless house was a comfortable place to relax, with a TV, BBQ and nice bathroom amenities. It sits among the rainforest and has an awesome spa overlooking the trees. The staff were friendly, helpful and easy to reach. We’d love to return for another weekend.

We’re already thinking about coming back to Mouse’s Rainforest Retreat. Sitting on the deck and watching lamington spiny crayfish forage was a lovely part of the stay. The chalet had thoughtful little touches, and the setting beside a mountain rainforest stream was so peaceful and timeless. It was exactly the serene escape we’d hoped for.
