Being able to choose a three-bedroom place and have a full kitchen is why this is our third stay at Zenith. The ocean views are amazing, and the location works well for teenagers, with heaps of restaurants and takeaway options just a walk away. This visit had one letdown: the balcony door in one bedroom was broken, so my son couldn't get fresh air and the room felt really stuffy.

I had a good week there and enjoyed the stay. I even had some little roommates, ants in my bed. They didn't bite, though, and kept me company as they ran up my back and gave me a soothing massage. I'm a sportsman, but this is my secret account, so I'm not saying who I am. I signed a cricket ball for a fan near the hotel, and he received the pass. It was good.

They were condescending and not friendly at all, and I wouldn't recommend them. After checkout, they stopped us and accused us of breaking a picture frame and hiding it under the mattress. They then tried to charge $500 for a Kmart frame we'd never even known was there. After we argued and brought up the terms and conditions, they lowered the replacement price. We spoke with a lawyer afterward and found they'd breached those terms and conditions. They also wrongly charged us a $175 cleaning fee when we should have paid $0. The place is very poorly run.

The apartment seemed a little outdated, but the views and everything else meant we didn't think much about it. My wife and I stayed three nights and really enjoyed it. The ocean views are spectacular, Surfers Paradise Beach is right across the road, and Cavill Ave's strip is about a two-minute walk away. Everyone was welcoming and friendly from check-in, through arranging our car park, right up to checkout. We'll definitely be back soon.
