It’s peaceful here, even though the beach and town are close by. The rooms are comfortable and have good facilities, including a pool and games room on site.

Sandra and Jason, the resort hosts, are experienced and easy to approach. Marine Cove Resort is a well appointed timeshare in a handy spot on Barrage Road, Goolwa South.

We loved the grounds, which are beautifully maintained, and made good use of the BBQ facilities. The bird hide is a short walk away, and Goolwa beach takes about half an hour on foot. We also used the resort discount for the Spirit of the Coorong tour, which was very good value. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week. We’re looking forward to booking again soon.

The heated pool, spa and children’s playground are always a hit with us, and there’s even a herb garden to enjoy. The facilities are well maintained, and the staff always give great service and attention to detail, going out of their way to make each stay special. I come at least once a year, sometimes more. Goolwa has plenty of cafes, pubs, markets, craft shops and other things to do, and the Coorong Trip is a must.

We’ve been coming back every year for 10 years. The managers are friendly and welcoming, and the place is well kept, with ongoing efforts to improve it. We enjoy the pool and spa, games and adult room, and gym. It’s also handy for the beach, river and supermarkets, and easy to stroll along the river for a coffee.
